The proportional dosing system is equiped with a special suction device which makes use of the “venturi effect” dosing the main water flow with polyphosphate in accordance with the European regulation thus reducing scale. Maximum hardness is 500ppm.

These kits are easily installed just in front of the boiler on the cold water inlet feed or at the mains for whole house protection.  This unit has significantly lower running costs as the internal dispenser is refillable allowing you to buy Polyphosphate refills that contain more dosing capacity than disposable refill cartridges.

This in-line filter is suitable for undersink drinking water systems, external fridge filters and water coolers. The 1 micron Carbon block offers excellent filtration, much finer than most other 10" in-line filters with added Polyphosphate scale inhibitor to prevent limescale build up in kettles etc. As well as treating the water for limescale, it also removes chlorine, bad taste and odour. Duration is around 6 months. Comes with a choice of integrated 1/4" push fit connections or  3/8" push fit connections for an easy filter change for a variety if applications.

Pentek RFFE20-BB Iron Reducing Filter

The RFFE in their new 10" and existing 20" large diameter options have been designed to provide an easy and effective method of reducing iron in water, greatly improving the taste. These cartridges help to eliminate the orange and brown stains often found in sinks, toilets, baths and other plumbing fixtures, as well as reducing the possibility of damage to pipes and water heaters and is effective where feed concentrations are up to 3 ppm dissolved iron.

Completely suited to drinking water applications, the RFFE10-BB and RFFE20-BB cartridges should be installed on the main cold water line after the pressure tank or water meter. For best results, pre-sediment and post carbon treatment is recommended. As water flows through the cartridge the RFFE causes the iron to oxidize and drop out of the flow, holding it within its matrix to ensure no harmful chemicals are added to the water.
