LIFF NSW5 Compatible 10" Spun Sediment 5 Micron Water Cartridge

The LIFF NSW5 or SW5 as it also referred to is a 10" Spun Polypropylene Sediment Cartridge used to remove sediment up to 5 microns and is compatible with NP1, NP2, NDL2 and NCP1 housing. It will also fit in most standard 10" housings.

The Ultra grade spun from PRISM, delivers exceptional 97% efficiency, with a low clean pressure drop at an affordable price. Finer fibres used in the construction create a more accurate level of filtration, whilst maintaining a high dirt holding capacity. The DSPP-U with its melt-bonded exterior minimises any fibre migration, whilst its single, one piece, graded density and thermally bonded fibre construction made from 100% polypropylene introduces no binders, lubricants, or other additives in its manufacture.

Due to the natural absorption properties of the cotton media, the DWCO exhibits the ability to remove and retain dispersed oil making it suitable for use in degreasing applications.

Using a clean, acidwashed bituminous carbon with a large mesh size, this granular range is primarily a chlorine, taste and odour reduction cartridge with the advantage of a coarse 20 micron pre and post-filter pad to retain carbon fines that is not susceptible to blockage if high particulate is present.

The most reusable cartridges in the SPECTRUM portfolio, nylon mesh filter sleeves offer an economic solution for reducing coarse particulate between 60 & 350 micron. With a comparatively small surface area, the nylon sleeves are manufactured from washable media for reuse time and again. The alternative single-use polyethylene sleeve suits applications that require a finer level of filtration. Designed to work with 10" regular diameter housings, both sleeves are used with a support core. Nylon Filter references: 60 micron (white), 100 micron (blue), 150 micron (brown), 200 micron (green) and 350 micron (grey)

Available in standard 10″ as well as miniature sizes, the nylon mesh sleeves inare colour-coded for easy identification and are ideal for coarser applications having the added benefit of being washable for re-use time and again.

The porous polyethylene (PP) sleeve is an ideal alternative for finer filtration, available in 5µm and 25µm in size 1 and 25µm in size 10 (Code SFS-Y-10-µm). The PP benefits from intricate matrices of open-celled, multi-directional pores to create millions of tortuous paths within its structure. Trapping larger particles on the surface and also smaller particles throughout creates a highly effective filter sleeve with the characteristics of a depth filter.

Granular Carbon:

Targeting chloramines for over 250,000 litres, the CRFC-20BB radial flow design offers the benefits of granular activated carbon, whilst at the same time significantly reducing the release of carbon fines commonly associated with other granular carbon designs.

Carbon Block:

The ChlorPlus in its block configuration, reduces chloramine levels to below the guideline 0.1 ppm from a 1 ppm feed for over 26,000 litres in its standard 10" configuration. As a pre-filter in renal applications, these cartridges are the perfect choice for extending membrane life, primarily due to the absence of carbon fines, which are a common by-product of granular carbons.

Capable of effectively reducing lead, mercury and cyst contaminants as well as an effective chlorine, taste, odour and premium grade sediment filter.

The cellulose-free fibre matrix results in higher reduction capacities that resist plugging, prolong life and feature the lowest pressure drop over the life of the cartridge. Due to the unique post filtration layer fused to the carbon/fibre matrix on all the Fibredyne family, this technology will not release fines into the effluent stream.

Manufactured entirely from FDA-compliant materials, the CFB-PB is an ideal choice for a wide range of commercial, industrial, food service and residential applications.

Fibredyne technology means that no pre-filtration is required for this 0.5 micron nominally rated filter.

The primary choice across the whole range of cartridges for effective filtration in very high temperature applications, the glass fibre media with a stainless steel core suits applications up to 400 DegC.
