Suited to the industrial sector, the lower capacity Core grade carbon block suits batch process, where a longer service life is not required. Manufactured using acid washed bituminous carbon, a highly microporous structure targets larger organic molecules such as benzene. This ensures the removal of ash and reduces rinse-up fines often found with non-acid washed bituminous carbon. Pentair Pentek CBR2-10 Cartridge is an advanced multi-media cartridges designed to reduce chlorine taste & odor and other contaminants. CBR2 Series Cartridges are manufactured using a powdered activated carbon (PAC) with a specially designed adsorbent media.

These cartridges are protected by a uniquely formulated polyolefin bilaminate prefilter, designed to significantly increase the useful life of the cartridge by trapping sediment that typically plugs carbon block cartridges.  As with our standard Pentek CBC Series Carbon Block, the CBR2-10 is effective at reducing levels of chlorine taste & odor and other contaminants.

Pentek EPM-10 Carbon Block

The EPM range is aimed at applications where frequent changeout is required, typically batch processes and where a lower capacity cartridge suits regular routine changeouts. Extruded from bituminous, acid-washed activated powder with a medium mesh structure, the high porosity design and 10 micron filtration prevent plugging prematurely and eliminate the need for pre-filtration. EPM cartridges are NSF 42 certified and are manufactured entirely from FDA compliant materials making them an ideal choice for a wide range of applications including food service.

Pentair Pentek EPM Series Cartridges are a modified version of the EP Series Cartridge. An economical price makes this cartridge suitable for taste, odor and chlorine taste & odor reduction, as well as sediment filtration.

The PPDP range is a product development on the popular SPECTRUM Premier Pleat. Designed to combine the science of depth filtration within a pleat format, this increase in layered media and cartridge construction allows for a higher dirt holding capacity over standard pleated cartridges. The PPDP is ideal for applications targeting a wider range of particulate size and those of a softer, more gelatinous form.

Manufactured using German engineered and produced high quality polyethersulfone media, the SPECTRUM PPPES provides assured and certified absolute bacteria retention characteristics. Lot coded and 100% individually tested, the high surface area media contains no adhesives or binders, with low extractable content offering consistent final product quality.
