The AquaRO50 System is an essential, complete reverse osmosis system to protect and purify water for use in aquariums. Designed to produce a continuous supply of high quality water. This is the perfect system for tank top-up applications. Working on mains pressure (2.8 bar+) and requiring no pump or electricity the system takes up very little space and can be easily mounted horizontally or vertically for convenience.

Eliminates Chlorine and Organics
exessive amounts of chlorine can be toxic to fish. Each system includes a granular activated carbon inline filter which removes both chlorine and organics.

Removes heavy metals
a thin-film RO membrane is inculded with each system that rejects up to 97.5% of dissolved salts - which includes heavy metals such as cadmium, zinc, and mercury which can be detrimental to aquatic life.

Significantly reduces nitrates
Nitrates can prevent growth and reproduction in fish and high levels can be fatal

Removes Suspended Solids
particulate in water can clog the gills of fish and if consumed cause illness

Additional information

Included in each pack:

- Shut off valve: to isolate the system for simple cartridge changeout

- Flush valve: regular flushing of the RO membrane will help to protect against fouling ultimately helping the system to produce higher quality water for longer

- Flow restrictor: applying back pressure to the membrane, the flow restrictor boosts product water production and reduces the volume of waste water sent to the drain

- Membrane housing spanner: effectively designed to make membrane changeout simple and struggle free

- 5 metres of tubing: to ensure inital system setup is made as simple as possible, accommodating for a variety of installation locations

- Mounting clip: for easy mounting

Taking the popular PENTAIR PRF-RO system and enhancing its performance with the SPECTRUM PRF-750-RO membrane now enables the system to achieve impressive performance with higher flow rates and improved system recovery. Benefiting from a smaller size and footprint to comparable systems, the PRF-750-SYSTEM has the added advantage of being able to operate off mains pressure.

The complete system comes with all componentry including a high capacity Fibredyne carbon pre-filter and two PRF-750-RO membranes which locate into the unique manifold with three colour coded push-fit connections for simple installation. The two high flow membrane elements in series, can produce an average of 4900 litres per day of purified water, protected by the carbon impregnated Fibredyne pre-filter delivering a chlorine reduction capacity of 38,000 litres. With the concentrate from one element being channelled through the second, waste water is reduced by approximately 75% compared to conventional systems.

Features and Benefits
Up to 4,900 litres per day of on-demand purified water
• Can be supplied without fittings; perfect for OEM’s or direct feed to an atmospheric storage tank
• Premium PRF-750-SYSTEM: delivers significant improvement to performance for a nominal investment

Fully automated production ensures consistency whilst maximising the usable surface area of this multi-leaf membrane. The SRO 1.8'' elements repeatedly perform to specification, with flows up to 30% higher than traditionally hand-rolled elements, which are often prone to a high failure rate in-situ. The SRO 1.8'' membrane is a reliable choice for applications from laboratory to residential systems. For use with the EMH-1812 housing and most other 1812 housings.
