Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) removes chlorine, organic materials, bad taste and odour as well as pesticides and herbicides.

KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) is a special patented formulation that removes, iron aluminium, sulphur as well as heavy metals such as lead, mercury and arsenic; it also kills bacteria, fungus and algae. KDF also gives the filter its Bacteriostatic qualities preventing the growth of bacteria for the whole of its 2 year Life.
