The PPDP range is a product development on the popular SPECTRUM Premier Pleat. Designed to combine the science of depth filtration within a pleat format, this increase in layered media and cartridge construction allows for a higher dirt holding capacity over standard pleated cartridges. The PPDP is ideal for applications targeting a wider range of particulate size and those of a softer, more gelatinous form.

Many applications benefit from using the high efficiency, large surface area, low pressure drop and inert properties of the WRAS approved Premier Pleat Polypropylene cartridge. Four pleated media layers combine to construct a pleat pack with depth characteristics and the main filtration media layer delivers high efficiency and exacting micron classification. An improved cage construction for 2018 delivers excellent flow dynamics and is designed to protect the integral pleat pack whilst providing overall rigidity and strength to the cartridge.

Delivering high efficiency filtration, the mono layer media of the Value Ployester Pleat delivers economical filtration with high surface area and high flow potential, whilst maintaining a low pressure drop. Vinyl plastisol end-caps eliminate the need for gaskets and maintain the integrity of the pleat pack, further supported by the tough inner polypropylene core. Resilient polyester media, used in a variety of applications from borehole and river water to harsher chemicals. With the highest flow rate capability in the SPECTRUM pleated range, the HF range is available in both high efficiency polypropylene, as well as absolute rated glass fibre media. The multi-layered reinforced pleat pack delivers exceptional dirt holding capacity and low pressure drop at flow rates of up to 110m3/hr, whilst an ergonomic moulded handle provides quick and effortless changeout, making these cartridges are an excellent solution for high volume applications such as building pre-commissioning and municipal water.

The perfect solution for industries from local water authorities to soft drinks or applications that require high volumes of fluid to be filtered with high efficiency at low pressure drop. Each cartridge is manufactured from FDA compliant materials to ensure suitability for food contact, ideal for municipal and food and beverage applications.

A multi-layered, graded pore density provides greater dirt-holding capacity resulting in increased cartridge life. High Flow cartridges require significantly less maintenance than other cartridge solutions. A single High Flow with its large 6" diameter can replace multiple smaller cartridges with 63 x 10" pleated cartridges amounting to the flow of a single 60" High Flow.

The Polypropylene High Flow cartridge is 99.2% efficient and offers excellent chemical compatibility and exceptionally high flow rates at up to 82 °C. The Glass Fibre option provides even greater efficiency over the polypropylene at 99.98% (absolute) without significant impact on flow rate whilst offering even lower pressure drop and capability of operating temperatures up to 121 °C.

High Flow cartridges feature a large O-ring seal which provides a secure connection and prevents bypass with an inside to out flow pattern that prevents potential contamination on cartridge changeout. Cartridges also have a glass fibre reinforced end-cap with integral handle for easy and secure cartridge changeout.

Crypto and Crypto+ Filters
Cryptosporidium , a parasite generally 1-5 micron in size and is typically found in water supplies, is known to cause respiratory and gastroenteritis based illnesses. Using the Crypto CP+ at 0.45 or the CP at 1 micron, Cryptosporidium and other microorganisms can be effectively removed to protect against infection or contamination.

Food Make-up

Critical for the removal of the resilient Cryptosporidium parasite from food manufacturing applications.

Incoming Water

Widespread in the environment, Cryptosporidium is known to be present in many surface and underground water sources.

Soft Drinks

Often used in filtration of many soft drinks applications for Cryptosporidium and the control of bacteria.
