Pentek RFFE20-BB Iron Reducing Filter

The MAZ 10 20 inch filter cartridges are designed to provide an easy and effective method for reducing dissolved iron from water that results in an improvement of water taste. These cartridges are helping to eliminate the orange and brown stains that are often found in sinks, toilets, tubs and other plumbing fixtures. It also reduces the possible damage to pipes and water heaters.

Completely suited to drinking water applications, the MAZ cartridges should be installed on the main cold water line after the pressure tank or water meter. For best results, pre-sediment and post carbon treatment is recommended. As water flows through the cartridge the MAZ causes the iron to oxidize and drop out of the flow, holding it within its matrix to ensure no harmful chemicals are added to the water.

Pentek (Pentair) 20" Big Blue High Flow Clear Housing

Available in both 10" and 20" lengths in large diameter Big Blue (BB), these extra-large housings allow for greater capacity, reducing both the number of vessels required for high flow rate applications and cartridge changeout frequency. Big Blue housings are compatible with a broad range of chemicals due to their all-polypropylene construction.

The 20" clear Big Blue version is manufactured with a polypropylene head and  polycarbonate sump and is only available with 1" NPT port.

Pentair Big Blue® Clear housings come with FDA grade Buna-N o-rings.

Pentair Pentek ChlorPlus carbon block cartridges help reduce sediment while providing greater chloramine performance capacities than granular carbon. They also significantly reduce the carbon fines found in many granular canisters.

With NSF/ANSI certified cyst, chlorine and sediment reduction, the FloPlus is one of the leading cartridges in its field. The FloPlus utilises Fibredyne media with a 0.5 micron rating that has a low pressure drop and flows like a 10 micron. Whilst Fibredyne media is effective at targeting sediment and the FloPlus can be used as a stand-alone solution, a 5 micron pre-filter is recommended to maximise life and performance of this cartridge.

A high porosity design helps prevent the cartridge from plugging before its adsorption capacity is exhausted, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining low pressure drop.

Pentek EPM-20BB Wide Diameter Carbon Block

The EPM range is aimed at applications where frequent changeout is required, typically batch processes and where a lower capacity cartridge suits regular routine changeouts. Extruded from bituminous, acid-washed activated powder with a medium mesh structure, the high porosity design and 10 micron filtration prevent plugging prematurely and eliminate the need for pre-filtration. EPM cartridges are NSF 42 certified and are manufactured entirely from FDA compliant materials making them an ideal choice for a wide range of applications including food service.

Carbon in a format of granular activated carbon(GAC) has the most flexible properties. For watertreatment, GAC combines well with other mediasuch as phosphate, resins and sediment traps forspecific contaminant targeting.

Using a clean, acid-washed bituminous carbon with a large mesh size, this granularrange is primarily a chlorine, taste and odour reduction cartridge with the advantage ofa coarse 20 micron pre and post-filter pad to retain carbon fines that is not susceptibleto blockage if high particulate is present.

The WS series of water softening cartridges are an effective and efficient solution for point-of-use applications that benefit from ease of installation and changeouts.

Designed to trap and reduce hardness and scale deposits the WS range is an excellent solution for exact point-of-use applications. These cation exchange softening cartridges use a bed of FDA compliant insoluble resin beads to reduce hardness by replacing calcium ions for sodium ones, thereby eliminating the hardness and scale deposit buildups.

Available in three different capacities and flow rates, the convenient and space-saving design of the WS series means softened water can be provided easily and cost effectively at the exact point of need.

This 10" cartridge is designed to fit into any standard 10" housing.
