Pentek (Pentair) 10" Big Blue High Flow Housing with Clear Bowl

Available in both 10" and 20" lengths in large diameter Big Blue (BB), these extra-large housings allow for greater capacity, reducing both the number of vessels required for high flow rate applications and cartridge changeout frequency. Big Blue housings are compatible with a broad range of chemicals due to their all-polypropylene construction.

Pentair industrial plastic filter housings carry a 5-year warranty (clear sumps, 1 year), details available on request.

This Pentek 10" Clear Big Blue version is manufactured with a polypropylene head and polycarbonate sump and is only available with 1" NPT port.

Pentair Big Blue® housings come with FDA grade Buna-N o-rings.

Pentek EPM-10BB Large Diameter Carbon Block

Pentair Pentek EPM Series Cartridges are a modified version of the EP Series Cartridge. An economical price makes this cartridge suitable for taste, odor and chlorine taste & odor reduction, as well as sediment filtration.

Pentek EP-10BB Wide Diameter Carbon Block

An extension to the EPM range is the NSF 42 certified EP, offering 100% greater removal capacity for only a 10% average increase in cost.

EP Series carbon briquette cartridges are manufactured using a patented process that yields a cartridge with a nominal 5-micron filtration rating, high dirt-holding tolerance. A high porosity design helps prevent the cartridge from plugging before its adsorption capacity is exhausted, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining low pressure drop.

These cartridges are protected by Endurawrap®, a uniquely formulated polyolefin bilaminate pre-filter, designed to significantly increase the useful life of the cartridge by trapping sediment that typically plugs carbon block cartridges.

Pentair Pentek ChlorPlus carbon block cartridges help reduce sediment while providing greater chloramine performance capacities than granular carbon. They also significantly reduce the carbon fines found in many granular canisters.

With NSF/ANSI certified cyst, chlorine and sediment reduction, the FloPlus is one of the leading cartridges in its field. The FloPlus utilises Fibredyne media with a 0.5 micron rating that has a low pressure drop and flows like a 10 micron. Whilst Fibredyne media is effective at targeting sediment and the FloPlus can be used as a stand-alone solution, a 5 micron pre-filter is recommended to maximise life and performance of this cartridge.

Pentek RFFE20-BB Iron Reducing Filter

The RFFE in their new 10" and existing 20" large diameter options have been designed to provide an easy and effective method of reducing iron in water, greatly improving the taste. These cartridges help to eliminate the orange and brown stains often found in sinks, toilets, baths and other plumbing fixtures, as well as reducing the possibility of damage to pipes and water heaters and is effective where feed concentrations are up to 3 ppm dissolved iron.

Completely suited to drinking water applications, the RFFE10-BB and RFFE20-BB cartridges should be installed on the main cold water line after the pressure tank or water meter. For best results, pre-sediment and post carbon treatment is recommended. As water flows through the cartridge the RFFE causes the iron to oxidize and drop out of the flow, holding it within its matrix to ensure no harmful chemicals are added to the water.

Pentair Pentek S1 Series Cartridges are manufactured from a pleated cellulose media and are designed for general water filtration purposes. The media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength. The pleated endcaps of the standard cartridges are immersed in a thermosetting vinyl plastisol. Pentek ECP 20  10" BB (Big Blue) High Flow Sediment Filter

Carbon in a format of granular activated carbon (GAC) has the most flexible properties. For water treatment, GAC combines well with other media such as phosphate, resins and sediment traps for specific contaminant targeting.

Using a clean, acid-washed bituminous carbon with a large mesh size, this granular range is primarily a chlorine, taste and odour reduction cartridge with the advantage of a coarse 20 micron pre and post-filter pad to retain carbon fines that is not susceptibleto blockage if high particulate is present.
