PBH Bag Housings

In many process applications the use of metals is restricted, hence the development of all-polypropylene housings. Pentair standard bag vessel assemblies keep systems on-stream longer by reducing bag filter change time. The single thread closure ensures quick opening and positive sealing against the Buna O-ring. All PBH series vessels come complete with changeout gauge, spanner and 3/8" drain valve. The PBH series is made of lightweight corrosion-resistant polypropylene, giving strength without bulk, and is particularly well-suited to water, acids, plating solutions, corrosive chemicals and food products. Bag vessel assemblies are cost effective, allowing installation of a multi-bag system for totally uninterrupted flow.

Building on the same technology as the discontinued ELPC cartridge, the C-155 has a reduced diameter allowing simple retrofitting to a much wider range of standard housings within the finishing industry.

One of our top selling filters, the Pentek GAC-10 made by Pentair is a 10" Granular Activated Carbon filter for chlorine taste and odour reduction. The design, with flows from bottom to top ensures a long contact time, allowing for maximum adsorption and treatment. Using a clean, acidwashed bituminous carbon with a large mesh size, this granular range is primarily a chlorine, taste and odour reduction cartridge with the advantage of a coarse 20 micron pre and post-filter pad to retain carbon fines that is not susceptible to blockage if high particulate is present.

This is a top quality filter housing which is compatible with any 9 7/8'' or 10'' filter. The convenient Valve in the head and the pressure release enables the filter to be changed without having to switch off the water supply.

Similar to the Liff NDL2 but with an easier hand operated Valve.

Developed as the direct replacement to the Pentair C1, the SPECTRUM SCW is adept at removing high levels of sediment and contaminants. The WS series of water softening cartridges are an effective and efficient solution for point-of-use applications that benefit from ease of installation and changeouts.

Designed to trap and reduce hardness and scale deposits the WS range is an excellent solution for exact point-of-use applications. These cation exchange softening cartridges use a bed of FDA compliant insoluble resin beads to reduce hardness by replacing calcium ions for sodium ones, thereby eliminating the hardness and scale deposit buildups.

Available in three different capacities and flow rates, the convenient and space-saving design of the WS series means softened water can be provided easily and cost effectively at the exact point of need.
