The PPDP range is a product development on the popular SPECTRUM Premier Pleat. Designed to combine the science of depth filtration within a pleat format, this increase in layered media and cartridge construction allows for a higher dirt holding capacity over standard pleated cartridges. The PPDP is ideal for applications targeting a wider range of particulate size and those of a softer, more gelatinous form.
 

Many applications benefit from using the high efficiency, large surface area, low pressure drop and inert properties of the WRAS approved Premier Pleat Polypropylene cartridge. Four pleated media layers combine to construct a pleat pack with depth characteristics and the main filtration media layer delivers high efficiency and exacting micron classification. An improved cage construction for 2018 delivers excellent flow dynamics and is designed to protect the integral pleat pack whilst providing overall rigidity and strength to the cartridge.

SPECTRUM 870 range of activated carbon block cartridges treat water by removing the bad taste, odour and appearance associated with chemical and organic pollutants

Contaminants such as chlorine, chloramine, herbicides, solvents, dyes are all treated along with the removal of organics through absorption. To satisfy the requirements of different water treatment applications, SPECTRUM 870 range includes 3 grades – Economic, Standard and Premier. Choosing the grade that is most suited to the application is influenced by the water source’s levels and types of pollutants combined with the desired purity and cartridge life.

Economic - Chlorine, chemical and organic taste, odour and appearance removal

The PRISM Max grade carbon block is specifically formulated for effective chloramine control and the only cartridge to offer this feature within the range. Having been manufactured within a five-stage process, this exceptional catalytic activated carbon cartridge offers up to 10 times the capacity of the Plus grade. Essential for use in public water supplies where chloramine has been added as the disinfecting agent of choice, the Max grade carbon block will typically be found within applications including aquatics and renal dialysis. Rated at one micron, pre-filtration from the PRISM spun range, such as the Plus grade DSPP at five micron, is recommended to maximise service life and prevent premature blocking.

LIFF Compatible SW1 10" Sediment Water Filter Cartridge
This LIFF compatible SW1 is a 10" Wound Polypropylene Sediment Cartridge used to remove sediment down to 1 microns and is compatible with NP1, NDL2 and NCP1 housing as well as using as one of the filters in NP2 housing. It will also fit in most standard 10" housings.

LIFF NSW5 Compatible 10" Spun Sediment 5 Micron Water Cartridge

The LIFF NSW5 or SW5 as it also referred to is a 10" Spun Polypropylene Sediment Cartridge used to remove sediment up to 5 microns and is compatible with NP1, NP2, NDL2 and NCP1 housing. It will also fit in most standard 10" housings.

Nitrate often reaches surface and groundwater by runoff from agricultural activities, such as usage in fertiliser. MRNI cartridges can reduce toxic nitrate levels below WHO limits of 50mg/L, exchanging harmful nitrates for chloride ions.

PBH Bag Housings

In many process applications the use of metals is restricted, hence the development of all-polypropylene housings. Pentair standard bag vessel assemblies keep systems on-stream longer by reducing bag filter change time. The single thread closure ensures quick opening and positive sealing against the Buna O-ring. All PBH series vessels come complete with changeout gauge, spanner and 3/8" drain valve. The PBH series is made of lightweight corrosion-resistant polypropylene, giving strength without bulk, and is particularly well-suited to water, acids, plating solutions, corrosive chemicals and food products. Bag vessel assemblies are cost effective, allowing installation of a multi-bag system for totally uninterrupted flow.
